Hey is there like an FAQ for this league or some other thread with basic information as I have no idea about it but am interested in joining. Thanks guys.

basically you just join a team, eddiesmith uses a program to sim the games and all you need to do is talk ******** to the opposition

Something else worth noting is the player types you can be before deciding which team to go to (a team may need a certain type of player, rather than just anyone)

(Either Right or Left Handed)
Pure bat
Batting all rounder
Pure all rounder (bowling and batting abilities are the same)
Bowling all rounder
Pure bowler
-fast
-fast medium
-medium
-leg spin
-off spin
Wicket keeper

The bowling component for everyone except the wicket keeper can be one of the 5 types as shown above)

Pure batsmen never get a bowl in the Test matches but can in the One Day matches.

My advice is to become a batting allrounder, you get to make a heap of runs & get to bowl as well.

Good luck.

Well last season I played for two teams and opened batting for one and didn't bowl and opened/first change bowling for one and didn't bat much :p

This year I open for both (batting) and first change bowling for one and a bit of bowling for the other.

Can you select batting position too? I might be an opening Pure allrounder...like Afridi maybe (just not aggressive or a spinner)

Which program does he use? Are all bowling selections done by like a captain or just by the computer?

The captain chooses the batting line up, the sim selects the the bowling changes/order.

You could always tell the captain your preferred spot in the order and they might/might not :D accomodate.

cricksim.thesportcity.com - this is the address to the simulator you can download.

You don't necessarily have to base your player type on what you are in real life.

I'm a tail ender in my cricket, yet a specialist batsmen here (though, I am batting like a tail ender at the moment, so maybe a certain vengeful elephant has paid me a visit.)

I open the bowling in real life but bat at number eleven.

But here I'm an all rounder

I'm a crap allrounder in real life and here i am a crap allrounder, i see no change.:p

Re: The Inzamam-ul-Faq page

Just like those books you read become sticky?...

Ahem sorry, yes a FAQ, would be very handy for the newcomers, but I thought we had something, somewhere explaining something about something.
