Rumour file and in paper this morning Nathan Burke wants to retire against Richmond. Why do we always get these games?

Time for a counter move me thinks - we should retire Rogers, Dunc and a few others this week.

Yea that would be right. We always get these sort of games as you said. Its so unfair. Maybe he picked to play vs Richmond because he knew they would get the points. Could be there easiest game on the run home?

Yep, we seem to be the soft target other teams like to have milestones against. I think it's time we changed that.

They should have another incentive to beat the Saints this week - what did their moron coach say after they lost to us at the beginning of the year: We shouln't be losing to these kinds of sides. Hmmm, hope we can stick it up Thomas.

HGA

Actually I think its our home game, but being played at their home ground. Part of the Tiger's cunning plan wrt home ground advantage.

Other clubs no we are a soft target with players who have no heart for a contest. The only milestone game weve won is when Silvagni had 300. I even remember KB's games record against Collingwood. We were flogged. I expect saturday will be no different. And it wouldnt suprise if that dud Frawley carrys Burke of on his shoulders.
Rodgers and DK, if that dud is still coach, will play on next year as we are the charity club!

I think it could also be StKilda's as their members get home ground privilages in lieu of games that they play at York Park or soemthing.

Every cloud has a silver lining !
Atleast Spud and Leowe will be able to take their Tiger positions unlike the Dirty Dog Cup when they were named in the corporate team but appeared to me they preferred to go see Nathan beat Stewie's record.

Try telling that to Bluey McKenna! He played his 200th and 250th against Richmond and lost them both! Oh well, at least he has 2 premiership medallions to console himself with!

Burke has coaching aspirations - no doubt he'll join his mates Spud and Loewe at the Tigers next year as an assistant.

Congratulations Burkie on a great career. Shame you didn't get to play for the team you supported as a kid - they could have done with someone like you there.

Pathetic effort Tiges - can't blame the coach entirely for such a lousy commitment from 21 players - so i'll blame the 22 of you.

Let's start the cull now. Start the retirements now and end the year blooding kids (if we've got any) no matter who they are. Don't sit them on the bench - play them Danny.

Lesson learned

Well done Nathan, and St Kilda for the effort put in. Hopefully Danny has learned this year how send offs for club champions should happen.

As to blooding players, I'm not sure there's much left. Anyway, the game plan seems so confused and negative that I can't see it developing anyone but scrappy taggers.
