my opinion is that Lance Whitnall should be traded at the end of the year?

His fitness is just pathetic. He is meant to be a professional athlete.

He is not getting any better at carlton so if he leaves it might be better for both parties

If we do trade him should we go for a player or draft picks?

We're talking about a bloke who despite his best efforts to keep fit, has always had to rely on playing footy to stay in shape.

So he has three years interrupted by injury. What happens? He loses fitness... he loses form.

The guy needs game time, and he's out of form. As ridiculous as it might seem, he needs to go back to the VFL and get some match fitness. He will come back and he will dominate.

no he won't. footy has passed him by due to the fact that he cant seem to find any fitness.
will be washing himself with a rag at the end of a stick when his playing days are over.

I also think Lance's time at Carlton is close to an end, I don't know if he is carrying any injuries but he looks like a 35 year old veteran rather than a 25 year old who should just be getting into the prime of his footy career

I think I have a new training regime for Lance, it involves running laps, doing weights and hamstring stretches.

I reckon Lance may have turned the corner on Saturday night. Good effort on Leppitsch and can only get better as his fitness improves.

I am sick of all this ridicule about lance...

He has a knee injury from pre-season, hence he isnt able to train as hard as he normally would

Look at Jeff White last year, he was terrible, had a shin injury and everyone bagged him, but this year with a full pre-season and no injury he's dominating.

I think if lance can get through the year, then have a big pre-season he'll be back to his best next year.

Give him a break guys ..... The media is an absolute joke bagging him non stop, when they know he has an injury that restricts him.
