My only rule with public speaking is to always remember my ABC & my XYZ. Always Be Cheerful & eXamine Your Zipper. I did have a problem once, when my zipper broke just before I had to deliver a speech, so I told the audience my rule, confessed about the broken zipper & all was forgiven.
