Its multiplayer, two teams face off.
Each team has a princess they are protecting, and they feed the fat **** cake so that the other team finds it harder to carry her when they try and rescue her.
Then they kill teh **** out of eachother.

another way of putting it is that it's a class based ctf type game which ABSOLUTELY requires alot of teamwork to win matches.
having a team of heroes won't win you very many matches
it's not really a pick up and play game because single matches can go for 30 mins+

Very fun game, not really my style of game but I have loved playing online. You definitely need team work as camo said, if you go off by yourself you are dead. I guarantee that. It can be pretty full on at times with a lot of characters on the screen at once all trying to kill members of the other team and it is a bit of a laugh.
Games can go for a while, especially if you are trying to capture the princess. I love the catapult which sends you straight into the enemy castle even though that can mean certain death a lot of the times. The weapons are pretty cool as well especially when you get upgrades, love the chicken potion.

Oh man, I absolutely love it! Priest is the best class to play I reckon.
BTW, the Dark Priest, when you charge up it's attack and the star comes up and that circle encicle your character, what exactly does it do?

i havn't played as the priest for more than a couple of minutes but i assume it's the bigger ranged more powerful group draining attack

Found out what the Dark Priest AoE does - It stops the enemy from sitting down and eat cake to heal up.

I like it the only problem is that not enough people have mics so the team doesn't really work together if you had a big group of mates all working together I think this game would really shine.

i think i saw something about a chef class as well
i'm really loving cod4 at the moment (even though tonight was really annoying not being able to aim after an UNBELIEVABLE few days probably averaging about 7+/1 k/d ratio ahahah....back to earth with only 3+
