Does anybody know of any father sons coming through the juniors??

Josh Free (son of Tony) is playing at the North Ballarat Rebels. Born 02/07/1991. I think he is a decent half-back/midfield prospect, but is apparently pretty short. I believe he won the club's best first year player award and came 4th in the best & fairest in 2008.

Looks like Nick Wood and Will Pickering didn't come on.

Andy Collins has a couple of squids running around in the Sandhurst under 10's. He has 3 sons all around the age of 4, 5 and 6 playing well above their age and are all ball magnets like their old man.

They reckon the oldest one will make his TAC Cup debut next year !

no doubt about it

Micheal and Steven Hall twins are both big boys and are meant to be pretty solid. In saying this they 11 respecticly but there all ready like 6 foot apparently.

Sons of Ray Hall (99 games for Richmond)

That doesn't help then as Ray Hall only played 99 games.
if they are expected to go pick 50 or lower im sure the afl would bend the rules. but if they are expected to go high. well what the hell were richmond thiking not giving ray another game.

Knew that would come back to bite us. Hall whilst a fairly clueless footy player had an ideal physique. Always thought it was worth giving him that last game despite the debilitating injury in case he ended up marrying some country netball genius and the kids inherited the best of both worlds.

Why not one more game
so do we have any that people would be interested in

The real shame is that Hall would have played his 100th if he hadn't missed the last game of 2006 due to a very soft suspension. We decided not to appeal because we wanted him available rd.1 2007.

Then if we'd played him on the bench in 2007 the howls about us tanking would have reached fever pitch.

I went and watched the rebels today against the falcons and he looked ok. I have said it before about him i love his agression and his desire to get the ball and the fact that he has a little see you next tuesday (work it out) about him. My old man and i agree that he has great core strength and has ok skills and decision making ability. he is not that tall at around 5'9". So i think if he was to get any chance of being drafted it would be a rookie spot and only cause his old man is on the board.

hope that helps.

on another point rebels looked average today and appear to have no depth as they were smashed in the under 16 game and reserve game and at half time (when i left) of the seniors it was 6 scoring shots to 13.

Ladies and gentlemen the father/son pick watch, has only 2 prospective father's offspring in sight.

Matthew Richardson, the tally is at 0. Although we are still prepared to wait, 5 years down the track and cloning may have to be employed.

and Scotty Turner, the tally sits at unknown. Scotty may have children or he may not. With Scotty being such an angry and scary **** at all times, the children may live in fear of him and were scared into living elsewhere upon their dad showing them the replay of the '95 semi final.

Sadly Chris Hyde, Michael Gale, Rory Hilton and Nathan Bower's sons won't be able to be taken as father/son picks.
