1998 vs Adelaide all 3 games were special. I think you may have lost thr 1st meeting at the G by a point. Won by 13 at Football Park in the 2nd hole and away game. And of course that grand final which was a tale of 2 halves.

1994 final vs Hawks and Cats

1997 semi final vs West Coast

Round 1 1998 vs West Coast

1998 Round 22 vs dogs for top spot

1999 vs Bombers x 2, Brisbane, Geelong and Sydney

2000 Round 1 vs West Coast

Many many more. They're just some.

The game against Carlton in 2012 is a good watch in my opinion. Petrie kicked 7 in three quarters and could've kicked more if his groin wasn't so sore from destroying the Carlton backline. Carlton got within three goals before we went bang and the margine blew out to 40+. The week after against Richmond is not too bad either. Last quarter is a cracker and Richmond had left nothing in the tank yet it wasn't enough.

2014 EF against *Essendon deserves to be up there, 2014 SF against Geelong, EF vs. Richmond in 2015... those finals showed that we had a respectable level of maturity when required. Just the shortcomings came back to bite us late in those finals runs.

One game that is really underrated is the Friday night game vs. Carlton in 2010 celebrating 25 years of Friday night. Don't think anyone gave North a chance and we belted the Blues early before finishing them off in the last quarter. Thomas kicked 7.5 and would've kicked more and buried them earlier if he didn’t have the inaccuracy that plagued his early career. Nonetheless, LT had a stellar record against the Blues that stretched across a few years. A nightmare matchup when he was on and lethal around goals.

Early 2010s is a fun period to watch despite the inconsistent seasons.

I don't know how I left out those finals. Throw 2015 vs Sydney in there too. I remember that 2010 game against Carlton. Even the one against the dees was decent when melbourne got within 9 after being 40 points down only to fade away again.

2014 ef v Essendon. A good night after local footy watching it at the sponsor pub with Essendon supporting team mates and my Swans mate holding me on his shoulders after we won. He was supporting us for moral support for 2v7.

Five games from 1998? I think there is something wrong with your memory. That season was cancelled and no amount of evidence will convince me otherwise.

1998 was a special event that was dubbed the Killer Kangaroos.

1998 Night Grand Final vs Saints a beauty.

King Carey took over. 4 goals in the last you guys came from 3 goals down at 3qtr time.

1996 match vs Geelong Allison 7 goals in the qualifying final.

1997 vs Geelong Carey's 7 out of 11.

Excluding finals and grand finals,

1995 v Essendon – We were about five goals in front going into the last quarter and Essendon kicked five goals in a row to hit the lead with five minutes left, we then kicked five goals in the last five minutes to win. Suck it Essendon.

1994 v Collingwood, our 125 year Anniversary game and it was Tony Shaw’s 300th game. The duck was out that night and when Collingwood got off to a good start, we had all of the Collingwood Clowns screaming out no Carey, no North. We came back that night and won by about five goals and boy oh boy did we give it to all the Collingwood supporters clowns around us. When I look back in hindsight, it was lucky I wasn't belted by the pack of scam with the amount of sh1t I gave them :D

Good games. Also the 95 final vs Richmond. I know you said no finals. But that was a good one. You got smashed during the week earlier in the season. Daffy kicked 6. Not sure if they kicked 9 in the first or 9 in the 2nd. Electrifying performance. But by seasons end the pendulum had swung.

-125th anniversary game Friday night. I can’t remember who against. We had big games every Friday. Pies, blues, bombers, hawks…. Fireworks and TNT by AC/DC before the bounce for a 12 year old were awesome!!
-93’ win at Victoria Park when McAdam went beserk. So did the magpie army🙄. Was my one and only time at Victoria Park.
-Was it 98 Vs the bombers at the MCG?
Carey kicked 10 including a left foot banana from the boundary, and Lloyd kicked 12 for the bombers. I think we lost but I walked away happy knowing it was a great exciting game.

Bombers game was in 99. Lloyd just got 7 lol.

In 1993 McAdam kicked 9!!!!!!! On fire.

Is there a Board on BF where you haven’t created a Best/Worst of?

Maybe go to Music Board and create a thread for the Worst Songs of the 90’s?

Round 12, 2014 vs. Richmond is definitely a must watch.

Kicked something like 8 goals in 10 or so minutes during the 3rd quarter comeback from 6 goals down. It was such an assault that Brad Scott didn't think we were capable of it haha. We ended up winning by 5 goals.

It's hilarious that despite the ladder positions of both teams, we seem to give Richmond trouble on nearly every occasion. It's like we're their kryptonite.

Round 15 1993 vs Essendon. North kicked 7 to 4 in the opening quarter, Essendon then dominated the next two quarters but only led by 10pts going into the fourth quarter, where North produced the greatest quarter of football I have ever seen. We kicked 8.4 to 1.2 and it should have been more, but the umpires tried everything, including making up rules to prevent North from scoring, but not even cheating umpires could stop Carey, Longmire and McAdam from running riot, Longmire and McAdam finished with six and Carey kicked four. And don't forget Mark Roberts and some of his runs from halfback, they were so exhilarating.

More recently, Round 16 2014 vs Hawthorn. I'm pretty certain this is the game where Petrie kicked 5 on Brian Lake who was so angry he tried to strangle Petrie and it took four or five players to drag him away. The game was pretty good as well, especially the third quarter when we made the defending look like a disheveled mess kicking six goals in about 10-12 minutes.

That 2014 win against the Hawks really rattled them. They absolutely hated us after that match and resorted to dirty tactics in the following seasons. For some reason we gave them a lot of trouble despite the fact they were a proper top 4 side. Maybe the fact we were harder at the ball than them? Probably. Had we met in the finals that three-peat isn't a sure thing.

That game is probably the only reason i thought we were a chance in 2015.

2014 EF V ESS (better than the flags, for mine). I ****ing loved that game.

1993 v Essendon, just ridic.
1993 v Coll at Vic Park.
1993 v WCE in Perth.

2nd half of 2nd Quarter onwards 1996 GF. Literally Paul Kelly misses that goal until Ian Fairlie's goal is as close to Heaven as there is.

Glenn Archer's 250th v Sydney in 2004. 40 points down at 3rd qtr time. I have watched that last quarter over and over.
Petrie kicked the winner from the boundary? A snap? I can't remember who did. I watched the second half of that game.

It was Corey Jones. The last quarter went forever. An unbelievable finish to the game.
