FAVOURITE player

Too young to see 2001 finals, so the dark days of 2005 and now are the only Tiggers I've got.. Fav player was Ty Vickery for a bit - met him at a clinic down Lancefield way. Lovely bloke. Went off him a bit when he King-hit Dean Cox. Loved Nathan Brown as a kid as well as Kane Johnston, Bowdo, Axel Foley and of course Richo. Got in a fight at school once when someone slagged off Richo. Worth it!!
I would never leave the Tigs. A bit annoyed at the BigFooty board slagging the club off actually.
I don't really have a favourite player now. I like Dan Rioli, Oleg, Jayden Short and Rancey but nothing specific.

My favourite player when I was a kid was Matthew Richardson and it remained that way until he retired. My favourite player now is Alex Rance. Although I really love watching Jack and Dusty too. I thought Cotchin was going to be my current generation favourite but he hasn't developed in to the player I thought he would become.

Maurice Rioli, for me. Amazing player. In an era where each midfielder had a specific position and the centre man did not leave the centre square, he still managed to be involved in every passage of play.

Richo on a wing rates pretty high, too.

But more often than not, it's the less athletic, less skilled players that are my favs. Maric. Both Kellaways. Newman. Miles.

Then there's those Tiger moments that are just fun to see. Rance single-handedly holding up the dam wall... Dusty one-out in the goal square... Matty Knights taking a bounce... Bowden hitting a 55m kick that doesn't get more than 2 metres above the ground...
