I'll do my top 3, its hard to split..

Camp Krusty.
Starts off great in the opening titles sequence when the family rush in to find The Flintstones on their sofa.
Only gets better from there.

Also love Homerpalooza. When I first heard an episode in production featured Homer joining an alternative music tour playing a carnival geek along side Smashing Pumpkins, it was long anticipated and thoroughly lived up to expectations.

The third one I loved was Lisa the Vegetarian where Homer had some of his best lines...
Homer: Waitamin Waitamin Wait a minute... Lisa honey, are you saying you are never going to eat any animal again? What about bacon?
Lisa: No!
Homer: Ham?
Lisa: No!
Homer: Pork Chops!?
Lisa: Dad, those all come from the same animal!
Homer: Yeah right Lisa, a wonderful "magical" animal. Hehe

Homer the Heretic
Itchy and Scratchy: The Movie
Mr. Plow
Last Exit to Springfield
Bart Sells His Soul

All equal; each a display of ultimate perfection.

There are so many to choose from.... I like the prank calls Bart and Lisa make to Moe's Tavern, Homer when he played Mr Burns's head like the bongos, and the one where Homer and Ned go to Los Vegas and end up getting drunk and married!! :D:D:D

Cheers!!
SeinDude

Another favourite of mine was the barbershop quartet, full of Beatles sendups.:D
And at the end, the Be Sharps play a gig on a rooftop, and George Harrison drives past and says "Been done before":p :)

YES!!! The crusty old Dean! :D :D :D

"Hello Dean...you are a stupid-head" :D

Almost every episode is good, to choose a best would really be too hard. There are only a half dozen episodes that i dont like out of the entire simpsons catalogue (one being the X-Files episode)

If anyone cant remember the names of their favourite episodes or just wants to have a look at some Simpsons classics theyve forgotten then i suggest you bookmark this place:

The Simpsons Archive: Episode Guide

fantastic (but fairly simple set out) site which details every simpsons site ever

*Homer back to college
*Homer and Ned in Las Vegas
*Ned Flanders and H.S become best friends
*Mr Plow
*Last Exit to Springfield (#9F15) (homer union leader)

But the greatest simpsons episode (imho ;) ) is the following:

Brother, Can You Spare Two Dimes? (#8F23) 27 Aug 1992

Herbert Powell returns, and asks the Simpsons help for an invention idea of his, using the money Homer received from the nuclear plant for some bogus award. Guest stars Joe Frazier and Danny DeVito.

I love them all

I'm actually the maintainer of that document.

I don't take any credit for compiling it though; the only thing I've done is the 13th season page.

Has to be the one when Bart is hanging out with his big brother Tom.

When Bart comes home from a day with Tom and Homer is sitting on the stairs and gives him a serve is the best scene in television history.

Homer: Where have you been?

Bart: Nowhere.

Homer: Liar. You have been galavanting around with that fluzy Tom, haven't you!! haven't you!!!... Look at me...Look at me......

Probably ****ed up the quote but it's **** funny.

Yeah, the bigger brother episode is a classic. I think my favourite is the one where Homer is made the union leader, it's just a laugh from start to finish. The softball episode, Mr Plow, and both the "Uncie Herb" ones are all awesome too.

Mr Plow is the benchmark.

Flaming Moes is brilliant.

The one where Homer keeps eating the ultra long sandwich and gets violently ill and Bart and Lisa get taken by Selma? to Duff Land, is also hillarious.

Surprisingly the latest ones had a corker called Sweets and Sour Marge, where Springfield is named America's fattest town. Every gag is a winner and stars the whole ensemble!

I heard the best joke ever on the Simpsons the other day on Fox, where Bart saw his future via the Indian at the Reservation/Casino where Krusty (in the future goes):

Q: "What's the difference between Pakistan and a Pancake?"

A: "I don't know any Pancakes that have been nuked by India!!" :D

" I choo- choo - choose you "

" " Hey Lisa if you stop it right here you can actually see the exact moment his heart breaks ..."

I can't believe no one has mentioned the Frank Grimes episode (or "Grimey" as he liked to be called:D :D )

Grimes: "I don't like you Simpson. In fact I hate you. From now on we're enemies."
Homer: "OK. Do I have to do anything?"

Grimes: "You've been in outer space??"
Homer: "Sure, you've never been?"

The one where Grampa falls in love with Bea. The 'Play It Cool' scene where Homer sings to Grampa about how to be lucky in love is my favourite all-time scene.

Second to that is the Chilli episode (guest voice for the Coyote by Johnny Cash - LEGEND!)

And my third fave is 'The Raven' from one of the early Halloween specials. :)
