Tasmania's made quite a substantial contribution to the world considering its size and population.
What's your favourite thing outta Tassie, it was a tough call for me but I picked Errol Flynn just over David Boon, both men deadset legends nevertheless!

You're Sydney fan!!

What about Daryn Cresswell! :D

Yeah, I thought about Daryn but thought that he'd probably not quite make the list, he'd be 11, unlucky to miss out!

BSA, Two things:
1). You left me off your list! ;)
AND
2). Why on earth did you mention Bob Brown?

BTW, my vote went to Boags! The BEST beer in the world!!!!!!! If you haven't already tried it, try Boags Strongarm! Now thats one hell of a beer!

Also, if you could vote twice, Boonie would be my next vote!

I didn't forget you CJ - I just got ya mixed up with CJH (as I always do :( )

sorry 'bout that !

Whats Boags Strongarm like ? - I've not tried it.

I really like Cascade Pale Ale - it looks clear and light, tastes like crisp and fresh, but cripes that stuff packs a punch !

Two schooners is enugh to send me totally ga-ga

Its a bit hard to find on the mainland, maybe thats not such a bad thing ! ;)

cheers

Strongarm is (as I said before) one hell of a beer. You wont be dissappointed! (IMHO of course!!! ;) )

It is 5.2% which is not quite as strong as Pale Ale (with I think is 5.4%). So it would probably take you 2 1/2 schooners before you off your tree! :D:D

BTW, you not wrong about the houses here being MUCH cheaper than on the mainland! I remember seeing a report on TV in which they compared prices between here and Sydney. A 'Mansion' with all the trimmings and a view of Sydney Harbour was worth 3.5 MILLION dollars! A 'mansion' here in Hobart with the exact same trimmings (execpt with a view of the Derwent ;) ) was worth 700,000!
It's a bit of a difference!

Cheers!
