I still have a pair of hypercolour boxer shorts that still change colour. Got them in 1990.

My mountain bike and my Queensland bottle trees. Rat bag dog goes without saying but I said it anyway as he is pretty much second only to Mrs Crim.

Also, didn't want such an epic thread to go without response.

I've got one of those old Castalloy baking dishes. They're worth a packet now and people were throwing them away in the 80s and 90s. Nothing cooks in the oven anywhere near as well.

I've got an old board game which I cherish.

First edition of Michael Burden's "Lost Adelaide".

A fantastic winter jacket that I was given in 1989.

help a brother out?
It’s basically about how people like to make toast.

You get to decide how important it is to you to understand the nuances of it.

I’d say not very important, but that is only my independent view.

bit of a tangent but i’m sure you’ll indulge me- our kettle died this morning so we had to get a new one. My partner was looking at one that had variable temperature settings… i cannot think of one possible scenario that would require a variable setting kettle that couldn’t be accomplished by a regular bastard- hot kettle with some added cold tap water.

so we got a normal one

I have a gas stove so I just get a regular kettle that you dump on a hot plate

I’m really tired of finding places to plug in electric cords.

I wouldn't mind getting one of those just so I stop tripping the power when I have the kettle, toaster and dishwasher on at the same time.

Do you like toast?

Gralin has a thread for you, if so.

we've got a gas stove and I'd prefer we had induction just for not breathing in the fumes

we had to replace our last toaster because it tripped the safety switch

We had some sparkies come and split our kitchen power points to a different fuse because the power was being tripped so much. It's a little better but still happens occasionally. They basically told us that kettles are massive power hogs and they will trip the power a fair when you start using other appliances no matter what.
