With only 2 rounds to go and many teams already with the cue in the rack and others locked into finals already i started to wonder who might be rested:

For me my obvious danger this week is Stevie J from the cats (praying he plays but against the doggies they dont need him and might be a good opportunity to rest him especially with Trav Varcoe due back)
Enright from the cats might be another candidate??

Any crows players likely to be rested v the crows (Danger or Scotty T)??

who else is everyone worried about?

I reckon the crows will see Melbourne away as a danger game and save the general sorenesses for the home game V Gold Coast the week after.

agree completely - hopefully the closeness and need to win far outweighs the desire to rest

On a related note, I don't have Danger but was thinking of bringing him in for Martin this week. Do you guys reckon it's worth it? Obviously I wouldn't do it if he's not named this week, but I would hate to bring him in, get 1 week out of him, then he gets rested for the GF. I suppose it's not really something anyone can predict though.

Despite being named still reckon Enright is a chance to get rested. Only thing putting me off trading him in.

Waters, Hurn or any number of Eagles next week? Will the Eagles stitch up a home final with a win this week?

Waters has already missed a couple of games semi-recently though hasn't he? I'm hoping that he'll be right.

What about either one of the Eagles' rucks??

I don't think the Eagles are in any position to be resting players, will be looking to push into the top 4/at least maintain a home final, and they have two tough matches (Collingwood and Hawthorn).

any chance the PAV will be rested this week? he looked sore last week

with Freo's season on the line Pav will play if he is 70% fit or better, seriously if he was playing for a victorian club he would easily be regarded in the best 5 players in the league, he is a dead set gun and performs in big games like no other (eg: WA Derby games) for me he starts on my team for sure, with Zorko on the bench as his cover in case he is a late out
