My heart says Agassi, but my head says Federer.
I'd love Agassi to win. He deserves one final hurrah before he retires. It will be an awesome match though, looking forward to it.

Agassi will need a miracle..
I've been to the tennis every day of the tennis thus far, and noticed little things different with tennis players last year..
My first observation is that Serena Williams is looking very very slow.. like a horse who's been tranquilised.. She's become 'too big' perhaps and the others have either caught up to the Williams' girls or the two sisters have slid.. I believe they have slid rather than the former, because I don't think they've got the same passion as they once did.. They've done it all.. and maybe they think its time to move onto other things... Richard Williams (father) said a few years ago he'd like his daughters to retire at 23-24, so that they could then go onto college and become involved in other things in their life.. well.. thats their age now..
Second major observation is that Andre Agassi is not the player we have all hoped to see.. I love the man and what he's done to tennis.. but time does tyranny to every champion, and if you look at his game compared to two years ago, even 12 months ago.. he doesn't have the same cat-like reflexes returning serves and making the millimetre perfect passing shots time after time..
How have others seen it?
To answer the thread, Federer in straight sets. They say 'never write off a champion (Agassi), but that gets cancelled out when you see who he's up against.'

Agassi's a legend of the game and a great bloke. We all want to see him finish his career off well - a last hurrah and a fairytale would be for him to beat Federer here and go on to win the final.
But Federer should win here, i mean, he's just cruising, and he should hit 5th gear in this game and I dont know whether Andres 35 yo legs can hold up. But should be an awesome game. Cant wait

The way safin is playing atm .. i really think he can give it a shake.Afterall safin's got the ideal firepower to upset federer.But can he be that consistent.. we will find out
You would have to think Federer, but expect Agassi to give it a shake. I mean that game at the US open last year between them was a cracker, if we have a repeat of that were set for a top game.

at the moment federer is in a class of his own. i hope for federer to keep his streak going but i wouldn't mind seeing it broken either

Federer is killing agassi .. that serve of federer is so underrated, but that ball toss is so hard to read.With the same balltoss can he hit 4 different corners in the service box.This is just amazing, the only other guy who did that was McEnroe and sampras (to an extent)Agassi is totally clueless about fed's serve still.

Federer is in just awesome form. Agassi came into this match with excellent form as well but Federer is destroying him.

Agassi Is not doing a whole lot wrong at the moment, Federer is just playing at a class above.
2 sets to 0, and Federer has the break in the thrid set already, I think the fat lady is almost ready.

i hope he can...the only question is that temper of his. but even if he remains composed, i dont think Marat can pull off a win against a bloke that destroys everyone he plays. Suzuki played alright and got done in straight sets by him. Federer needs to be at about 80% and Safin at 120% for him to win.
