The 5th quarter Andrew Maher said a punctured lung and 3 broken ribs, 12 weeks. The question is: Can Colin Sylvia do this to opposition players?

Really bad break for him but very lucky for big Nicho, as he will almost definitely get a gig from now on, unless the 0 game veteran Warnock can get in before him. Rivers is now our most important player without doubt, for at least the next 12 weeks, we can't lose him or we may have 30 goals kicked on us. Will Daniher go with Warnock, who showed a bit in the NAB cup, or Nicholson as the 3rd tall backman, after Carroll and Rivers, who have 1 & 2 sewn up

the mark was intended for sylvia but he should have either let fergy take it or tell him to get outa his way.

when watching it on tv it didnt look too bad. Sylvia just gave him a lil knee in the back and thats about all. no less than any other speccie. when at the game i thought that sylvia then fell on fergeson, from the angle i was sitting, but from watching the tv replay that wasnt the case.

very unfortunate, thank god rivers is back soon.

12 weeks, that really is a bad break, this was a breakout year for Fergie.

Least we get to see Nicho back now, how great.

Warnock must be feeling so lucky.

Firstly Rivers gets injured, Daniher freaks and promotes Warnock. Now Fergs is out for 3 months, and you just know that he'll get a game!

Bring it on. Nicho is not AFL standard, and Carroll is on very thin ice. If our backline was any worse, it could almost be mistaken for our inside midfield.
