Those of you in Adelaide would know the Adelaide Fringe kicks off tonight and the Adelaide Festival of Arts kicks off in March.

What are people's favourite festivals / fringes they have been to over the years, both here in overseas?

I always enjoy the Adelaide Fringe when it's on. The Garden of Unearthly Delights is a good place to sit around with friends casually eating and drinking. Love to head to the Edinburgh fringe once year, hear it is a fantastic event. Love to hear people's toughts

Moomba is pretty good. More of a kids festival, imo. But, still pretty good for the big kids. It's free which is always a positive. Great atmosphere around the place when Moomba is on.

Fringe is the one time of the year when Adelaide feels like an exciting place to be. Went to see a show last night in the Garden, ended up spending the whole night there. It's a fun atmosphere there.

Adelaide is known as the city of churches, but it also the one city that recognizes pagan deities more than any other, however When you see bare hills, you see the endevours to drive the blacks from there habitat.

Dead fraking nearly a bottle of scotch set.

Went to the 2001 Edinburgh Fringe. Awesome.

Rainbow serpent is the best festival i've been to. It's heaven to me.

I've heard amazing things about afrikaburn.

+1 for Rainbow. This year's was brilliant. Such a good vibe. Everyone us friendly and extremely low w***er rates

Love the Fringe, try to get to a few shows every year. Managed to work it so we'll see 5 shows this year, 2 one night and 3 another. The one with 2 shows in a night are spread out a fair bit too so we'll get a chance to hoot around the Garden and see what's up too.
