Fev APPRECIATION - Thread

Before this game, Fev had only received 6 free kicks for the year and given away only 5. He's now 10 FFs and 5 FAs.

At the same stage last year, he had received 13 FFs and 20 FAs. He gave away atleast 1 free in every match last season. This season, his most per game is 1 FA, which has happened 5 times.

I think he's only given away the 1 free kick in the last 6 games. Has become a lot more disciplined with his tackling and is no longer giving away frees for late hits.

His pressure in the past few weeks has been brilliant.

He's either on fire or disinterested this year. No real middle ground.

Geez, the signs were worrying early and even while kicking goals, he was preoccupied with his finger. Not sure whether to put his game down to Fev's desire or the Tigers defence in the end. Let's see what happens next week I guess.

I certainly love his highlight reel though!

When he;s one on one in the goal square, you have to back him .. he was fantastic for 3/4's yesterday when he;s hot he;s awsome, he doesn;t get much lee-way from the umps. You just don;t know what you;ll get from Fev...inconsistent .. yes, trade him....no, frustrating...yes...hate him..no.

Hope he has another blinder next week.

Gary Lyon was starting his anti-Fev preamble just before the first bounce, and then went on with an unbelievable anti-Fev rant when he missed a few shots in the first quarter. I guess I needed to be reminded why Lyon is an A-grade nuff nuff.

Credit where it's due, I reckon he was one of the first to suggest the game was terminally passing Big Lance.

I didn't hear Lyon but as I posted somewhere else yesterday - I was very disappointed with Fev's selfishness in Q.1 - maybe he was referring to some of the ridiculous attempts Fev made instead of looking for a better option
