Just reported on channel 9 news apparently Fev has knocked back a 3 year deal with the blues as his management are after a 4 year deal

I would only be giving Fev a 3 or 4 year contract with a termination clause for bad behavior! Apart from Simmonds, 4 and 5 year contract are dangerous! Two names for you Nick Holland (and I don't blame him, love him to death, but injures killed his career in the end) and Sammy Hamill (injures as well. Don't think he played more then 10 games after signing his 5 year contract)!

If this is true, negotiations or not, Fev should thank his luck and sign it. 3 years is pretty genourous considering what happened at the start of the year, and seriously, who signs 4 year deals these days.

Hmm, perhaps after seing what we did to Lance though, he doesn't trust he would get 1 years after the next.

Thankfully these days i have absolute faith in the people in charge - they will sort the deal, or if he is asking way too much get the best they can for him - either way i still believe he will be at carlton next year.

Anyone get the feeleing that the greatest of great men, holier than holy, el president may step in at some point. Wouldn't you love to be there to watch all the player managers face when the great D Pratt ( no not daniel) walks in to help negotiate.

Yeah lack of pre season has allowed lance to er um Reach his peak "fitness" id expect leon davis and rocca to end up teh same way aswell TBH
