Yeah in all honesty I would have been come to think of it. You'd take a bloke with his goal kicking skills every day of the week if it didn't come with all the baggage but unfortunately they're a package aren't they? It's very hard to estimate what sorts of potential damage a bloke could do to a club regarding negative influences on younger kids etc as well. Wasn't too crash hot on the defensive side of things if i remember correctly either which wouldn't cut it these days.

With any luck Trav and Chris will come good and hit their straps and you'll see the imposing forward duo that scared the living shit out of many an opposition last year.

Nope he played for Casey in the VFL last year and he won the goal kicking award. he was also 10kg over weight when he played for them.

Cloke wouldnt win the goal kicking award in the VFL if he had the whole season in the 2s.

Yesterday Fev just notched up 100 season goals playing for the Yarrawonga Pigeons in the Ovens & Murray league.

I don't care if he deals crack to kids during games over the fence if he can kick 60+ goals.
 
I would happily take Fev....Would have to be on a pretty short leash.....Perhaps he could show Cloke how to kick....:rolleyes:

The whole Fev attitude thing doesnt worry me at all. We already have a bunch of "bad boys" at the club, and it hasnt seemed to ruin the culture. I dont think what Fev gets/got up to is any worse than some of the things that Shaw/Didak/Swan/etc got up to.
Fitness wise, I think if he started getting fit now maybe he'd be good to go for Round 1.
Playing wise, we know he could kick goals. He couldnt do anything else, but he could kick goals. We need a guy who can do that.
The biggest thing that concerns me is his age. Can he hold up for a full season? Who knows.

All I know, the single greatest scenario to ever play out in football would be the following... Grand Final next year, Collingwood vs Carlton, Pies down by 5 points. Fev takes a big contested mark. Siren goes. Fev kicks the winning goal and Pies with the flag. :D
