campo spent so much time at carlton because he was a very good, but very soft player. in the last few years he wasn't dropped because, quite frankly we didnt have many players who were capable of replacing him.

LOL at targeting glen manton for being soft. in case you didn't know he retired like 4 years ago. when was the last time you watched a game of footy. you know it cuts us carlton supporters real deep when you call an ex player soft :rolleyes:

I'm glad you admit he's a 'very good' player.
And i'll laugh at Manton as much as i like,he was so bad as a player that if carlton could of recruited Goofy to replace Manton they would of!

i did not admit he is a very good player at all-stop making things up. i said he WAS a very good player, but he isn't anymore. is that too hard to understand?

manton was good for us. i don't know who you were watching but if you were at all, it wasn't him. a good servant for the club. nothing amazing, but constantly did his job without a fuss.

by the way, your attempt at humour failed miserably :eek: so please don't try again...

if you knew anything about footy you would know that all the above entioned players had talent. norman was a promising young defender who just didn't have his head screwed on correctly. had loads of talent.

angwin was one of, if not the most talented youngsters i have ever seen. was an absolute gun, and would have had a very long and illustrious career in the afl if he had half a brain.

manton was not a star but was by no means crap. did his job very well week in week out and was a good servant of the CFC.

you bag us about our 'duds' from the past, yet super talented players like bolton and henneman are still on the list.

carlton have a better list than essendon and those three players you mentioned would easily get a game at essendon if a)2 of them had a brain and 2)if manton was in his prime.

pathetic post, further illstrating that you don't know much besides 'lloyd is the best fullforward' 'fletcher what gun' and so on.....
