Cut Chris Judd some slackJudd and Kernahan had both urged Fevola to quieten down during the count.
"I told him to settle down at one stage because I heard his voice. He was yelling out to (Nick) Riewoldt," Kernahan said.
"After the count (at the after-party), I never saw him and I was there 'til 1.30."
He asked what Judd could reasonably have done with a player who required half a dozen security staff to remove him.

Thank God Fevola's behaviour wasn't as bad Walker's and Houlihan's.![]()
He suggested he might have been a little more proactive had he been Fev's captain and sitting alongside him, as would Mark Maclure, Jimmy Buckley and Wayne Johnston, but a punch in the mouth might have created more problems than it solved.
AFL to tackle Brownlow bingeing: CAROLINE WHINGES■ Significantly reducing the pre-dinner drinks, customarily lasting close to three hours, and potentially bringing forward the count from 8.30pm to 7.30pm.
■ Banning the serving of spirits, serving alcohol only when requested and increasing the availability of light beer.
■ Serving food more regularly throughout the night and increasing the variety and availability of soft drinks. Last year only orange juice and water were widely available.
■ Rearranging the seating in Crown's Palladium Ballroom to place footballers and their partners at tables with club officials.
■ Continuing to work with clubs to discourage a ''Mad Monday'' culture.
■ Shortening the official post-Brownlow celebrations and possibly restaging the after-party away from the official venue.
■ Encouraging the host broadcaster to remove any emphasis on players' drinking after receiving votes.
■ Empowering Crown security, along with AFL staff, to remove heavily intoxicated attendees.
It wouldn't hurt. Can we trade Caro for a league journo from up north?
