What about Judd? He has the explosive pace to be able to lead to space every time, and he is a dead straight kick from anywhere inside about 55 metres.

I'd start both Embly and Sierakowski in the goalsquare.

Embly can become the leading option, while Siera stays at home for the long ball. Siera doesn't need to do much, just split packs and bring the ball to ground where Fido, Wirra and Merenda can crumb.

But I'm very keen to see Embly given some real responsibility. The guy has all the attributes of a great footballer, and this could be just the spark he needs.

Although, we all know that Embly has a tendency to let you down after you pump him up a bit.

And I think Milli has to stay at fullback. He's the only one I'd be comfortable with seeing match-up on Barry Hall.

Give the job to Embly and see how he goes...he has so much untapped potential and one day hopefully he will start fulfilling it...lets hope he starts against Sydney!

I also agree with Buzz...i wont be comfortable unless we see Milli line up on Hall.

I think Embley should get the job, or even try Hunter in the square rotating with Embley.

I think the team can also help by going for goals themselves instead of kicking into the forward line looking for the FF....a nice spread of goalkickers would not hurt the team.

I'd give Embley first crack at it... maybe the responsibility is what he needs to take that next step

Another player is probably Hunter, he's been so highly touted as a FF but has never been given the chance to play there

i was just in the hay st mall watching an eagles hand ball comp with mcdougall and williams. the announcer said that mcdougall was pushing for selection this week. surely this is bull****???

Yes, I say give Hunter a shot at it, god knows he gets enough practice in the WAFL! And if he ****s up, he goes back for more practice :D

Tuckey and Siera should also be given a go.

(As for McDougall...well a good prospect should be pushing for selection EVERY week :))

I dont think he is, but I think Williams has been dropped.

Really MDB!!! I didnt think he'd been that bad!!!! Id like to see him play..he needs match time and some experience. Dropping him isnt going to help him or the club!

Wong would be handy addition in situations like this...Wosha should pick him up if he nominates for the next draft and is still available.

Who's Wosha?

I don't think it hugely matters who plays at FF this week. Sydney will flood in traditional fashion and we will win or lose the game in the midfield.

Personally, if Siera has kept his place after last week's debacle, I would put him in the square with Embley, Matera and another small (apparently Merenda was good in the WAFL) lurking dangerously.

Do you really think Carlton are going to pass up the opportunity to draft Wong with their priority pick. He'll be long gone before we get a shot.

Perhaps trading Cuzz to Carlton is the only solution.

Well the announcer isn't going to say otherwise is he? Not many young players would push for selection after being 4 weeks out injured.
