Also after knocking back about 30 shit international management offers I finally got given Belgium!! Accepted it immediately, they have a 5 star team and it is amazing. I'll post the squad when I next get on FIFA, but wow - Hazard is a 90, too. Just in time for the 2018 WC, which I simmed the group stage of last night as I wanted to end my Brighton season and was short on time. But I'm through to the Round of 16 and hopefully can push further into the WC! :)
 
So since I last posted I managed Norwich City in seasons 2016/17 (Promoted to Premier League), 17/18 (Finished 8th), and part of 18/19, where I got the Manchester City job (Won the title in 18/19 and 19/20).

I also have managed Australia and the Netherlands during that time.

Wtf. Just started playing a game in my career mode, and the ball did not appear! Like we were kicking around thin air. Though it continued as if there was a ball. Absolute redic. Had to forfeit the game. Was a cup game so now im knocked out of that. Awesome.

Anyway Jan transfer window coming up, and have roughly 100 million (as chelsea) for some transfers (got shit loads after Hazard decided to piss off).
Any suggestions?

Change the ball from "default" to anything else. I thought the patch fixed that though :confused:

I got it 2nd game into my season after the patch.

THE PATCH FIXES NOTHING!!!!!!!

I played the "South American" Cup (which included Mexico and the US).

Beat Mexico 1-0 first up thanks to another lucky penalty, it was an early one then I held on. Of course then I managed to lose to Venezuela and Argentina beat me to knock me out. So hard to create decent chances with Ecuador, and besides Valencia just not an enjoyable team to play with so I will definitely be quitting at the end of the year.

I bought Bojan too, overpaid a bit but I desperately needed a decent striker. Haven't heard good things about him in previous FIFAs and the signing has come underfire in the press but hopefully he can link up with my Messi Jnr.

No I did, it was a career mode started after the patch, still got the glitch 2 games in. :confused:

is anyone experiencing a bug in career mode where you try and look for team statistics in the international team section, but when choosing a team it brings up stats for a different international team? IE choose Australia and get Austria players stats
 
I'm having real trouble defensively. All my games end up like 6-4, 6-6 etc.. leaking goals like a mother. Any tips? I switched from PES to Fifa 12 and now Fifa 13, still can't get used to the tactical defending thing.

Speaking of defenders -> if anyone wants a good cheap one, check out Abdennour. He has great strength, and fair pace. rarely loses out on one-on-ones. And is young

I'm in my second season with Arsenal. I remember in Fifa 12, the first transfer offer I was made was Jack Wilshere to Man City for a shitload of money, and I took it. Started playing Fifa 13 and the same happened, lol, so took it again. Never a fan of Wilshere

Just on Lamela - highly recommended. Comes relatively cheap for his worth. Won the top scorer in the EPL in his first year. Bought him at 78, currently he's mid-80's

Switzerland (I quit, got real boring/ couldnt get stuffed)
I just accepted New Zealand (probably will regret).
 
Sucks being a small club in Australia. You really can't get much over.

Started my 2nd season after finishing 7th as the Wanderers with some very inconsistent performances, but mainly wanting to build Mooy, Rojas, Cernak, Fenton, Dugandzic and Appiah-Kubi up as players ready for a tilt at the championship in the 2nd season. Did well in that respect getting Mooy to 70, Rojas to 67, Fenton to 63, Dugandi to 65 and Appiah-Kubi the pace machine (98 Acceleration and 95 sprint speed!!!!!!:eek::D) to 60 overall.

But then come the start of my 2nd season and transfer period. I get offers for Mooy and Rojas, I counter with $3mil for Mooy and $2mil for Rojas. The teams oblige and I have plenty of money to spend. I need a GK and CDM to fill the need of Covic who retired and Mooy who has left the CDM role.

I put offers to about 15-20 players and only 1 accepts, which was a 71 rated GK. All offers were well over what they're worth and more than what they're earning on a weekly basis. But the same thing I constantly get given back after the club accepts is basically 'I don't want to move'...then how the **** am I supposed to get players?

Decided to revert back to the save before the transfer period and won't send Mooy or Rojas overseas and will just buy a GK from the money I got at the start of the season. Just feels like a massive handicap to have when you either have to pay ridiculous overs for a player to come or not bother at all.
