I thought about it, but figured I should consider myself lucky that I actually found a match in the first place lol

I dominated both matches, felt like I was playing against my pet cat or something (he sucks) but I still only managed a draw and a loss with 1 goal to my name. My poverty internet connection doesn't help much either.
 
Midnight isn't the best time to be playing seasons as you'll probably get matched up with someone overseas.

I think it still largely factors in how well known the player and/or league they play in is. That said, a nice segue for me, I recommend not focusing too much on the Overall rating, but zoning in more so on the specific attributes the player has and how they suit their position. When it comes to choosing between two players for a position, it's not always the higher overall rated player that wins out in mine.

For example, playing with Man City, bringing Centurion in from Argentina (Best photo in Fifa 14!), whose overall is only mid 70's, he has smashingly good speed, stamina and acceleration and it's reflected in him being my line-breaking rebound player, who scores much more (both real play and simulation) than Negredo (slower) does in the same position although their Overall differential is about 8-9.

I think the attribute reflection in the game play is awesome on this game. I thought Fifa '13 was good but I'm loving this years, can't wait for the PS4 version, looks su-poib.

didnt think about it that way. ive always gone for the higher rated player but i shall look more into the players that my scouts comeback with from here on. thanks :)

Paredes is a whinging bitch in my Career mode, do you think certain players are wired in prima donnas? :p Seems if Negredo doesn't get much pitch time he doesn't say a word but Jovetic is forever telling me I should be picking him rather than someone else. :rolleyes:

Overpowering strength is better than overpowering pace. I don't mind it.
 
The patch for headers can't come quick enough, getting sick of conceding the same goals in seasons.

Any half decent cross seems to end up being a header on target while the defender just stands there...

90% of my goals have come from this situation. Beyond ridiculous.
