It's just the previous FIFA version + minor enhancements + WC - all club modes. Quite fun to play during the tournament, and easily forgettable afterwards.

The best was 1998 Road to the World Cup, where you played through all of the qualification tournaments.

2010 World Cup is easily my favourite FIFA game still. I love FIFA 14 and gameplay wise it's probably as good as the series has been, the sheer variety is enourmous too. But the incredible fast pace of 2010 World Cup, coupled with the amazing formula of being able to go through the world cup online saw me pour a huge amount of hours into it. The satisfaction of winning the world cup was awesome.

I doubt they'll make too many changes to the gameplay from what FIFA 14 is, but if they bring back the World Cup online format, I think it'll see me get it and play it over anything else for a while.

Yes the focus on fast pace attacking style of World Cup 2010 was brilliant. I just hope World cup 2014 isn't DLC like Euro 2012.

Do the world cup games have online modes?
Yes FIFA WC 2010 had online modes so expect 2014 to have online modes as well, especially since Online gaming is a huge focal point in video games these days.

The EA Facebook page has said it will be released on PS3/360, no mention of next gen...

Seriously. It would want to be out on next gen, but who knows with this dog shit company.

That is beyond a joke. Sports titles have a remarkable advantage on new consoles. The gameplay is far superior (NBA and FIFA are both better on the new platforms)

Imagine the atmosphere the WC games could create on the newer consoles graphically etc.

Huge disapointment as I always love the WC games. I'll probably still grab it though cause I'm a massive sucker for these titles.

What a joke, World Cup 2010 was my favourite FIFA and I was looking forward to this so much.

EA really are stupid, why not just make it on both?

No way I'm buying it on ps3.

Will not buy. What sort of excuse is 'Most people are on 360/PS3, so we'll only make it for them?' Why would I waste money buying a World Cup on 360 that will be worse than the copy of FIFA 14 I have on XB1?

No real reason for you to buy it, but you are a small percentage of the market. It is disappointing though.

RTWC was a brilliant game. Indoor soccer mode, the ability to turn off fouls and go nuts in multiplayer etc!

RTWC, Cricket 97 Ashes and AFL 98 all came out at about the same time, right when we got our first decent computer. Good times!
