Tonight must have been emotional especially for the fans that have stuck by this club through its downs from 2011 since its inception. For the diehards and loyalists, want to say big congrats. And fair play to the recruiters this season, make no mistake Gold Coast is a destination club for the future too.

Nathan Buckley just said it "This is history right?"

We are witnessing history in front of our eyes.

A lot to take from this game going in to next week against a seasoned finals team, especially about managing the game.

At times we needed to keep the foot on the throat and at other times we needed to slow the game down.
This game shouldn't have been as close as it was. I hope this was just finals inexperience and we learn from it.
