I was thinking an alternative way in which Carlton can clear its off field debts, and become a powerful, stable club again is if we attempt to track the owner of the Chelsea "BLUES" (English Soccer Club)...Roman Abramovich...This man is worth 16 billion dollars and has a habbit of chasing the best tallent in the soccer world, something he could force at the Carlton Blues. In having this same name the "blues" I think the club should push hard to get chelsea to link up with us..either through sponsorship or something...
It could be a massive coup, and I think the effort could be well worth it...just need to find a way the clubs can tie together, as we share the same name.

those soccer followers will be well aware of this man..

(last month the guy cleare da 140 million pound debt from chelsea, and was not an issue to him)...we must attampt to get him

Sure our debt would be nothing to him, but i don't think he'd see any value in such a relationship
