Firewalls

Most of the time when ive been conected to the net for about an hour or so, it signs me out of everything and wont let me get back into anything because it says im behind a firewall, this is getting really annoying and costing a bit as well, because i have to disconnect from the net then start it back up again.
Anyone know how i can fix this?

Type of Firewall? (Norton, Zone Alarm.. etc)
What Programs? (MSN, Explorer, both.. etc)

Ive got xp
Um dont know what firewall, i have no ideas with computers, but i have the norton anti virus stuff.
Sometimes it just does it before i get into any programs, but id say both msn and explorer.

the 'firewall message' sounds like a bit of a red herring, MSN always mentions firewalls when it can't connect. It really sounds like a problem with your connection, maybe you have an idle timeout setting. Have a look at this topic http://www.bigfooty.com/forum/showthread.php?s=&threadid=93090#post1515947

Jim Boy the idle time before hanging up is already on never, but thanks for your help anyway, i think ill just go and visit my cousin and he can see if there is anything wrong with it.
It hasnt done for the last 2 days so yeah hopefully it wont do it anymore.
