Still reading the 9/11 book.. still so much more detail am learning about that day.

The really astounding thing was the government really were caught off guard- FBI knew "something big was going to occur" but they assumed somewhere internationally. Day of Sep 10 was like massive alarm bells going off. When it did happen they instantly knew it was UBL. Bush kept demanding- and yelling at his staff to take him to the WH but apparently secret service outranks the prez in this case and they kept on refusing. For a while Air Force One was circling with no placeto go.

Theyalso claim the FBI was extremely frustrated with the Clinton administration. One FBI guy apparently said in the year 2000 "what will it take you to take Al queda seriously? Them bombing the pentagon?"

Its a mini-series about the FBI division that was investigating terrorism/AQ and all the walls they faced in trying to get the CIA to cooperate with them and get politicians to take their concerns seriously.

Im fascinated by 9/11 for some reason... i had a private tour of "The Cell" in Denver set up for me (it was closed for rennos at the time) but on the day i was just too ill to go- like could not get out of bed ill. Was so disappointed

I think ive seen only one doco on the actual terrorists themselves. Would like to maybe see/read more from that perspective
