So I got my car insurance renewal. Is $1100.

Just go to Bingle which is meant to be cheap to compare and its exactly the same price. Yeah think I'll stick with AAMI thanks. RACV is the same price too.

When I moved aami quoted me twice the price to stay with them.

Yeah it's bullshit.

FWIW my renewal has gone up 45%, so I'm definitely ringing them asking them to give me a better price. But yeah like i said, comparing the quotes it's not that much different.


I might ask them to chuck in roadside for free too.

See that's what I was getting a couple months ago with the quotes and I was shopping around ahead of time. AAMI; $1500, RACV: $1100. Hence my surprise when I got the actual renewal today.
