When dad was in the home the old guy next door was a mad footy fan with his room full of footy stuff.

Only a small thing but knowing he had no family visiting I would always stop by and chat to him for a few minutes about the latest Freo/AFL news.

I've checked out a lot of aged care facilities for relatives and some are really sad places
