Can I get that carnivor virus from eating steak or other meat? It's probably all a hoax spread by those pesky vegans. No Uber Eats from a Chinese restaurant for me for the time being. Am I glad that I live among Italians, Greeks and Maltesers and not Chinese. I feel safe. I'm still a bit fearful about using my Samsung phone. Will Glen 20 work to kill the virus? I'm so confused.

You do realise that being in that temperature especially in the sun even for a short time could possibly kill me, don't you? My illness prevents my body automatically regulating sweat so I can easily overheat. It's called Anhidrosis. That's why my doctor is insistent that I stay in a/c when the temp gets over 25. So far this summer Melbourne has had at least seven days over 38 and 54 days above my limit of 25. I've never really liked hot weather, that's one of the reasons why I hated living in Perth(even before I became ill). The people are another, present posters excepted, of course.
Perth gets hot but it's never really that bad because unless you live out in the foothills or something the sea breeze almost always comes in and provides some respite in the afternoon.
Hottest place in Australia that I've been was Mt Isa, that was pretty horrid.

Mornin'! What a nice day today. Put the TV on and The Avengers is on 9Gem. It used to be on PBS - the educational channel when I was a kid. It was one of the rare English TV shows shown in the states back then. I used to come home after bowling(tenpin kind, not the old people one) for my high school on a Friday evening, grab the usual fish sticks and tater tots left over from dinner and watch it in my(our) bedroom on a TV my brother had won in a raffle. (He stuffed the box.) Those British accents! So exotic. I still love Diana Rigg.
Diana Rigg was a mega babe back in the day.
Was a great Bond girl.

The Super Bowl coverage starts at 10 Monday morning on 7. I shall be having a toasted bagel, cream cheese, capers and smoked salmon for my Super Bowl brunch. I guess I'll go for the 49ers since their quarterback went to Eastern Illinois University with two of my nephews. As long as the Packers and the Patriots aren't in it, I'm happy.

Saw the last three sets of the Men's Final, Thiem ran out of steam at the end and was getting pretty quickly. It just comes down to lack of experience.
