Inevitable with kids, but far, far worse from adults. I once vomited while strapped down to a gurney on my back. Was horrible.

Ive vomited maybe 5 times. 2 i can remember as a kid (one on the blanket that was on the couch), the other all went in the bucket. As an adult, from alcohol: once on king st all into the bin, another in a hotel room: all in the bathroom sink. And the last one 2016 from a dodgy piece of cheesecake:all into the bucket.
