I spent most of yesterday trying to figure out what was wrong with my phone. I just have an old Samsung Galaxy S4 and a prepaid plan with amaysim with unlimited local and international calls and texts. I never use it for looking up sites like BF or watching YouTube. Late Monday it stopped refreshing the weather. I looked up solutions online but couldn't figure it out. I did notice that the "Yes Optus" logo on the lock screen had replaced the "amaysim" logo. I gave up when the phone's battery was almost out and charged the phone. After it had charged everything was back to normal, but the "Yes Optus" logo remains. Looks like Optus has taken over amaysim. We switched our main home system and Wifi from Optus to TPG last year for a better deal and have had no real problem with TPG after having many issues with Optus. I just hope my cheap phone cost doesn't go up now with Optus. amaysim has been great for me the past three and a half years.

No problems with mine. I think the trouble yesterday was the switch from amaysim to Optus and something to do with Accuweather. My phone couldn't find my location for Accuweather but the GPS was working for Uber. I deleted the four cities I had for weather after I couldn't get a location for Melbourne. Later my location was changed to Keilor East on the phone and I was able to get Chicago, Phoenix and Las Vegas to work. I was afraid to try too many things myself to fix it, knowing full well that I'd probably stuff it up even more. I have no idea about some of the crap on the phone and what it means.

OMG I just received an email from my cousin in Chicago. She wants to know if I received her Christmas card and very boring Christmas letter. She also said the card and letter she sent to my older brother in Arizona was returned and wants to know if she had the right address. I have no idea what his address is. He probably refused it! Now I have to email her to let her know and then email her again after I receive my card and letter. Ugh. I should print a copy of the letter and post it on here. But do you really care that her dentist got divorced? And that the flowers she planted last summer didn't come up?
Sounds more interesting than Home and Away.
