Got the all-clear from my biopsy today. Into the final phase of recovery, then on to rehab.

Went in for a simple throat operation and came out with a slit throat, one arm useless and a crapload of meds. Recovering now but the piano/singing worlds will never be the same. And we can all be thankful for that.

Sorry to hear that. I still have some recovery time from my surgery to go but my doctor is pleased with my progress. Nothing like a Lockdown to help recovery.

Slit throat was expected (thyroids removed) but there were some extra bits to deal with so scar will be larger than usual and recovery slower.
Longer op meant my arms were compressed against torso for longer which pinched a few nerves. Will fully recover in time (can already pick things up & type again) and will start physio in a week or so.
