The day nurse I've had during the week saw the pic of my late cat Jordan that I use as my screen saver so I showed her the pics of the cats I've had through the years. She mentioned that a lady in the office who fosters cats and kittens and that she sometimes brings them in to the hospital. Soooo... last evening she came to my room with a six week old gray kitten that was an orphan and let me hold her/him while I was watching the footy. It was as cute as you'd ever see. What a lovely thing to do for someone. I miss my Zsa Zsa.

Thats really sweet- just got a PM via FB, from a friend I worked with at camp in Michigan in 2001.

We dont keep in regular contact, so that was nice of her- just asking if everything is ok, re. LD etc.

Omg... I think this time 20 years ago, we were working together actually up at the Meadows with the older campers.

FMD...

Then the week after the entire camp season was finishing up, I stayed with some mates in a house in MI for a few days and flew back home before 9/11 then happened 10 days later.

And I was 21. And Corona virus and lockdowns was something far far away in the distance..

That's it- gonna take some photos of photos on my phone (dont have a scanner) and send them to her.

Same. Flew back from England a couple of weeks before after 3 months in Europe. Then started back at work on Sept 10, was umming and arring about going to Canada for work then the planes hit and ****ed that plan

I wanted to do the Canada thing too. The cutoff for that date iirc is 31 years of age. I was 30, in 1 month I turned 31 and my passport was about to expire.

Didnt even bother.

That was the first skunk I saw. (the smell is indescribable, when they spray. I smelt like "second hand" spray- never around when one actually did it)

Bottom pic is my cabin at a different camp site. That's my friends Laura's bed. Not mire.

Finally this is me in Chicago (had 5 days off around the 4th of July holiday) at Maccas, with all the drink sizes.



We've probably caught up to that now easily tho.

Altho idk.. i think our large is still the one in the middle?
