Got to give scratchy proper hugs and kisses today- his dad was outside bringing the bins in.

Some of what he said

"Yeah its bizzare I take him walking and ppl going by say "Hi Scratchy!" and im like who the hell are you, how do you know his name"
"He literally stands at the gate all the time saying hello to people going by he's such a good dog"

and when i told him i only ever give him treats very occasionally/wouldnt want to over feed him

"Ah nah go ahead its fine- we adjust his meals at night- we got Italians etc around the corner always feeding him"

Then this little smoosh ball of a poodle cross with a cocker spaniel I think, walked by. Straight away she was in the submissive position, rolling over- wanted desperately to play. And Scratchy just stands like a statue dominant over her- he's a little weird when it comes to other dogs apparently.

He got bitten by one once and now he's quite wary/skittish.

Least he didnt bite her, the poor thing, she was such a sweetheart of a puppy.
