But its saying I still have to report my income and "attend appointments".

Are they having a laugh?? I've got a FT job and not claiming anything from them from now on, whats the deal with this.

Report for 6 fortnight's then the payment will actually officially cancel. Doubt there'll be any appointments anyway..so wouldn't worry about it.
Think the place is that rooted these days..you won't be able to get through on the phone. Just ignore.

Yeah.. never handled Jobsearch etc. I did family allowance in the olden days..then compliance.
Been on the farm for awhile now, so am losing a lot of what I used to know. Think they call themselves "Services Australia" now.

The Job Active stuff may be from your Job Network place, maybe email them if you can. Sounds like they don't know you got a Job. Left hand doesn't know.... type of thing. Bureaucracy eh!

It was, shall we say, interesting. Probably 20% were lovely. 65% perfectly reasonable and the rest dish pigs. Lol.

I was on the carers allowance briefly a few years back looking after the old man befor he went into permanent care. I think it took me contacting them 3 times to finally get them to stop paying us. The funny thing was I definitely didn't have to pay it back either because they had been 'authorised', overpaid us I dunno something like $1500.

They know. I spoke to two of them and got a generic "congratulations on your new job" email from them. They know for sure.
