I'm over being by myself.

Hits hard when you go to the footy and you are on your own, see everybody else with friends and family. Although I have been going with family a bit recently.

Except for the EF last year, 41 points down I had my head on the floor then they came back, best night ever.
I didn't know many Bulldogs supporters when I lived in the Eastern suburbs, so I went to the footy by myself most weeks. There was another Bulldogs supporting teacher at my school who I went to some games with. His young son used to go with us. I used to listen to my radio during the game when I went alone.

When my friend accompanied me to the game at Marvel a few weeks ago, she was driving me crazy asking all kinds of questions. She did realise that she was annoying me so turned it down. I used to enjoy sitting with Eagles supporters when I lived in Perth and had a season seat. Even got invited to dinner by one couple. We used to give each other hell, but never in a nasty sense. They all called me Footscray since I wore my colours to every match.

I reckon I could do fostering. It's temporary and they're not babies. (I hate babies) But still, logistics and all that kind of stuff, I wouldnt actually do it.
I considered fostering in the 80s and 90s, but then realised what a drain it might be after spending every day with sometimes troublesome boys. I also didn't drive, so I couldn't be a taxi for a foster kid. And I'd have to cook every damn night.

Ive read a couple memoirs from the pov of a foster carer. Obviously it was a very extreme case, but geeze it was really tough to read the book.

Im sure being a carer would be very rewarding but yeah.. i wont be doing it anytime soon in a 1-bedroom apartment lol

Yeah having to cook a nutritious meal every night would be tiresome.

Idk how my mum did it.

Will watch #bdrepeat live to air tonight.

Absolutely zero on at 8.30pm this evening
I missed it. I had MKR on at the time but fell asleep watching it. I had an appt in the city with my cardiologist and I'm always tired after a trip there. Old.
