FTA-TV First Dates - Part 5 - Back to the Repeats

One of my flatmates in Kalgoorlie was a psychologist and showed me one of her uni books. Read about 4 pages of one chapter and she goes yeah and can be hard to understand. Then it clicked what he was waffling on about and it was something really pretty simple. Then my mind switched to this guy could have easily made this point in half a page instead of using 4.. it ended up being more of a psychological insight to an academic trying to sound far more intelligent than what they really were.

Ooooh Media Studies. Another subject I wanted to do. Did it in Year 10 (Semester one: TV, Semester two: Movies), loved loved loved it.

My school did not offer it in VCE.

We would watch like Sale of the Century together and she would tell us what the clothing and colours each contestant selected said their mindset, always analysing everything haha.

Part of my Major was in Psychology. I did one course called Abnormal Psychology, where we visited a Federal prison - Marion Penitentiary, which was opened to house inmates from Alcatraz when it was closed. You would have loved it.(The course, not the prison!)

I've done the tour of Port Authur and Alcatraz. One thing that stands out is they have the exact same smell.

When you have to navigate those flogs in the shopping centres harassing people trying to sell rubbish it's mighty tempting.

I mean you will switch sides to walk on the opposite side to avoid them, they see this yet still race across to annoy you.

Haha yeah I wouldnt read too much into it but I think clothing colour does just a little bit, like bright ones especially a red suggests confidence.

I'd have more sympathy if it was hard to find work but atm in wa they could probably just walk into random shops for an hour get offered a couple if real jobs.

The worst is when you have to walk back and forth several times in the shopping centre, so of course they dont remember you and you cop their crap several times.

One of those door knocking ones actually walked right up driveway and looked into my backyard where I was working and talked to us, hard to get much ruder than that.
