In Perth I'd be the same but here is very small and the same people often go into the gym at same time. Never actually talked to anyone or have any inclination to.

Pool I do say hello to a lot and have a few short convos with people I know.

That bear looks scary AF with one eye but it definitely has two eyes

That car crashing into the people at the pub I was expecting it to be someone still driving in their 80s or something. You have to wonder what happened.

They were in their 60s, could be legit medical

Info will come out.

It could still be medical and they shouldnt have been behind the wheel in the first place. Or could just be out of the blue and this is really unfortunate and tragic accident.

Way before my time but in HS we used to have a minutes silence every year for a school bus that slammed into a tree coming back from Perth and everyone died. Straight bit of road too so you would assume that either the driver feel asleep or had a medical condition.

Looks like a nice selection, well as far as someone my age with no kids could guess.

The Hungry Caterpillar complete with Hungry Caterpillar toy is like the greatest thing ever.

That teddy bear lights up too- like different colours like its got xmas lights in it.

Batman was my hardest choice.. had alot of superheroes incl Spiderman. Gotta go Batman imo.

Went TAB too.

SO.. my horses are incl the sweep: 1, 6, 4, 3, 13, 15.

The non sweep ones are fivers each way.

I'll just be happy enough if I get my $50 back. Anything more would be a bonus.

Probably only bet on the cup like 10 times but the only time I ever won anything was a place on Castletown iirc in 92 with my first ever one as a kid.

I've won on it twice in recent years- both from tips from ppl on BF.

Have continued that this year as well.

My last mortgage repayment is today on the cheaper rate

I'm gonna have to get off my ass in a few weeks and sort this out... iirc fixed is alot lower than.. variable thats it, atm.

I went to give my nephew $50 for his birthday yesterday but at the last moment changed my mind and only gave him $40 cos I wanted $10 for a bet tomorrow haha.

I can beat that, I won a bet on Freo beating Richmond but mum ****ing lost the ticket. Never took responsibility for it either

I honestly never ever wanted to bet on another horse, but I can remember Saintly. I just loved that horse, thought she (?) was gorgeous and loved the name.

I dont think I've ever really tipped any other cup winner, Ive never really bet before these past few years tbh.
