I think its 6% commission they get, i remember them mentioning it sometimes

I've seen them sacrifice a part of their commission tho sometimes- just to get sales thru if they're 25 or 50k off and neither party is budging.

This is a reality show tho- alot of these sales fall thru after the cameras stop rolling, i do know that.

How much does a realtor make on a million dollar home sale? With a typical home sale, total commission will be around 6% of the sale price ($60,000 if the home sells for $1M), and be split down the middle between the listing and buyer's agents.

And after a quick google, they apparently get 10k an episode for appearing on the show. Not too shabby.

I couldnt disagree more. It seems stressful, 24/7 job, always on the phone or email, you gotta pay the marketing costs and everything else and what if the market's shit and nothing is selling or the seller withdraws the sale, which sometimes happens you get ZERO.

Its not an easy job, no way in the world
