I would come in from the angle of if the campaigner who murdered her displayed inappropriate behaviour during his time working there- and thus why wasnt he delt with/fired (he flirted with young girls apparently amoung other things)- and not after hours security at the school.

He also had zero criminal history prior to this murder.

Sadly, some crimes like this you just cannot predict or avoid. As infuriating as that is.

*fwiw I access my school before hours when it is very quiet. When I go into the gym toilets to change, I am glad there is a lock on the inside of the main door. So I can fully lock myself in there and feel completely safe.

Theres not much more I can do than that and its not the school responsibility to provide more security. Imo
