That's so cute.
We trained our late dog not to go into the rooms with carpet. When he was a puppy, I woke up one day and I couldn't move my legs. He was curled up asleep at the end of the bed .

When I go to bed she tries to sleep next to me but I usually bump her with my butt and she goes to the foot of the bed to sleep on a throw rug I have on it. She stays there for awhile and then goes down to have a bit of her dry food which I can hear her crunching on. After that I think she goes into her safe place in the wardrobe then comes over to sleep next to my pillow sometimes later. She also goes behind the plaits of my blinds to sit in the sun in the morning.

She sleeps on my bed during the day or in her safe place, but comes out about 4pm wanting to eat or when I get back from the community room with my dinner.

I just fed her and she came into the living room to sleep on top of a fleece jacket I left on a chair. She often sleeps on top of any clothes I leave on the bed. I must smell great!

Many years ago I let my mates pit/staff x dog sleep inside staying with me in the depths of winter but he was very strictly forbidden from getting on my couch.

One night I got up like a zombie to get a glass of water as you do and walked past the dog sleeping very soundly in front of the couch.

Walked back past him and was about the open my bedroom door and thought wait... something isn't right here..

Went back and put my hand on the couch and it was all warm

Not a big dog person but that was a brilliant animal.

They're so smart.

On an older couch that we had, we would lay a sheet on it for him to sleep on it. One night I was up really late lying on the couch watching Wimbledon. At a certain point he got fed up waiting for me to leave and he got up and growled at me to get off the couch .

The dog was a scary looking and a legit dangerous breed/s but he was so friendly, good natured and clever.

Even got along with the 2 cats me and my other mate had in the house.

Staffys are great but I would never want to own one
