At face value withnwhat the media has reported it seems there is so much of it that it makes it tough to draw any other conclusion that she did it. Im sure the jury that actually hear it all properly and analyse the evidence carefully will make the right decision either way.ALL the lies etc etc circumstances, does it all add up to beyond reasonable doubt?
Idk.
It would be a lot different if the story from the start was just I picked some mushrooms that went in the meal and must have made a mistake. Then also act like a normal person when they hear that they might have ingested deadly poison and actually stay in hospital instead of discharging yourself. Yeah it would be suspicious but you could still accept the possibility it was just a horrible accident.I think if you add all the elements up, then it is beyond reasonable doubt.
The important lie for me that she told was about where she got the mushrooms. She not only lied to the police, which could be explained away that she panicked. She also lied at the hospital. If she was innocent, there would be no reason to lie there.
If she does not end up with 25-30 years in prison.
