Just found out that xrays I had of my knee show a stress fracture of the tibia. Have to have an MRI done. I also have blood and urine tests tomorrow and TTE(Transthoracic echocardiography) before my cardiologist appt next month. Not the best way to start the year. Last year was the first year in the almost nine years that I've been back that I didn't spend time in hospital.

Jane's back and she has 41 for Saturday and Tuesday . We're going to the tennis again on Monday, so I hope the heat doesn't come a day earlier!

I've decided not to walk to the dining room to pick up my dinner until my knee/tibia stress fracture is resolved. That means I'll be inside except for every other Thursday when I go out with my AgedCare helper or for the four specialists appointments next month and imaging appts. I walked to the dining room yesterday, but it was difficult even with my walker since I didn't want to put pressure on my right leg. Depending on what instructions I'm given, I'm thinking of getting a wheelchair to get around outside by myself. Seems like I'm collecting mobility devices like some guys collect cars.

Yeah definitely see if you can get a wheelchair. You don't want to be stuck inside all the time. (Although I'm sure Zsa Zsa will like that!)

It's a bit concerning that signs about snakes are being erected along the route that I walk.

Every time I attach a photo it is rotated. I think it is because of the upgrade because I've never had a problem before. Can someone please post a photo and see if it happens to them? I'll then know if it's my phone that's the problem.

I tried two pics and both came out OK.

I decided to try a Vietnamese bakery on Uber Eats today. Roast pork banh mi was really good. Even gave extra chillies in a small bag to put on. Apple cake was also good. I have two meat pies saved, one for later and one for tomorrow. At least BDSY is on tonight. Nothing else on.

I usually stay up to watch a 3am religious service from Washington DC on my phone, but not tonight. I just looked and it's been cancelled live because of a snowstorm going through at the moment. They're showing a pre-recorded service online only.
It's currently -9 with 12cm of snow expected Sunday. And here we are expecting 43 on Tuesday...
