She just looks so guilty. No eye contact, no emotion and then all the lying.
I hope his air con is working! It got up to 48⁰ in Phoenix Thursday. My poor brother. But it's a dry heat...![]()
We get the very ocassional 44 or 45 out here but 48 is just ridiculous. It got up to 48⁰ in Phoenix Thursday. My poor brother. But it's a dry heat...![]()
Someone on X asked him how he can stand the heat after growing up and living in Illinois all of his life. He said you just put up with it, similar to what people say here when it hits 40⁰. Everything is air conditioned. He does take the dogs for their walk right at dawn before the sun gets too hot. He also said it's worth living there in the winter since the winters are so beautiful. That makes up for the hot periods. Since you've never lived in minus temperatures for weeks at a time, you wouldn't know what it's like.I hope his air con is working!

This, you can just adapt to anything. Along with not being a complete pussy.Someone on X asked him how he can stand the heat after growing up and living in Illinois all of his life. Today would be the equivalent of Feb 8 in the Northern winter. A normal day in Chicago would have a top of 1⁰ and a low of -7⁰. And the snow... we had over 30 cm of snow on Feb 1 2011. I posted pics of our home and street on the Bulldogs forum back then.
That's why I could never live in Queensland or the Northern part of WA. Humidity is a killer. Chicago's hot temps in the 30s always come with the south wind from over the Gulf of Mexico(Gulf of America lol) with high humidity. Luckily it only happens a few times for just a few days most summers. Best time of year is autumn, late Sept/Oct. Cool nights and warmish days.We get the very ocassional 44 or 45 out here but 48 is just ridiculous.
In saying that you joke abou the dry heat but low 30s imo in Asia is almost worse with the humidity.
I can't be outside in temps above 25 or so for any length of time. One symptom of my illness is difficulty regulating body temperature. That's why I like winters here. This, you can just adapt to anything. Along with not being a complete pussy.

I was 10 when I got my first pair of glasses, 63 years ago. I wore contacts from '79 to '00 and went back to glasses. Since my cataracts surgery I only use reading glasses, mostly when using my phone. Don't even need them for my laptop.Good morning.
I'm getting my first pair of glasses fitted today. I'm getting old!
