I've seen one red back spider in my life.

Never seen a snake in the wild /touch wood

But yeah, walking around secluded forest making noise because a bear or cougar may pounce is scarier than anything animal related I’ve done in Australia.

I've seen a couple mountain lions threatening to attack videos. It is unbelievable those people survived. Scariest shit you will ever watch

Worst I had in Australia was wasps. Seen copperheads, taipans and brown snakes in wild.

Cougars are worse than bears. Was in Whistler last week and my youngest had a tantrum. Ran up a path on mountain. There were warnings about cougars during week. Freaked me out. Yelled at him that you’re not in suburbs anymore!

That’s the worry. Bear will pass you by normally. If there’s a cub - well that’s why bear spray is a thing.

Seen about half a dozen black bears in life with no issue. Got no ambitions to be in Grizzly territory.

I just did a very quick calculation on what I should be paying in tax this year.

I'm actually in the black by over a grand, in comparison to what tax has already been taken out of my pay! So can I actually expect an actual decent tax return this year...

I worked on Eastlink for a bit, one of the tech shelters on the side of the road was infested with red backs one day. I worked for a Spanish company, the Spaniards are like "ah just a few harmless spiders" I googled red backs for them, they immediately called in the professionals ha ha

Red backs or funnel webs. Two spiders I would not **** around with.
