First game in Melbourne

So its our first game in Melbourne this week and alot is writing on it. Alot of people have said that we cant be premiership contenders if we cant win there, so here is our chance to prove everyone wrong, and just let everyone know (again) just how good we are this year. What does everyone think? I guess the question should be If we lose, WHY?
Our team is travelling alot better than the pies atm so there really is no excuse. We are going into it without Judd but we have the talent to cover it.

People always go on about how good our midfield are but I would love to see them display it the way Hawthorn did against Melbourne last week. Collingwod's ruck and midfield are ordinary and I just would love to see: "Cox/Seaby down to Cousins/Fletcher/Kerr/Stenglein BANG hits Gardiner/Lynch/Sampi/ on the chest" Hopefully we can flog em but I am that nervous about the game - probably coz it will be the first time I see them live this year - Dont wanna be the bad omen!

Will be a test, but I think you guys are a side that goes in thinking of the match ahead, and not the season. Also a team that puts as much effort in against Port Adelaide as you would Collingwood. No easy thinking.

Should be a good match down here. Weather starting its usual pattern this week. Very cold mornings with overcast skies that turns into a good day of sun. Shouldn't get any rain, so a good sky for you guys. Will be cold though ofcourse.

I am expecting a 120-90 win by you guys, but still think that Collingwood will not give up. Simply not rated anymore, expect a few suprises from our mediocre side.

Yes i will say complacency was why we lost although i dont fink we have a heavy reliance on judd. But we dont seem to be as direct without him

We can't do anything in Melbourne, we don't run to space, we kick to packs, and the defenders over-committ and make stupid mistakes. What the hell happens on the plane over here? It's extremely frustrating.

Yeah, we should have played better today. Just our luck that Collingwood somehow lifted too.

We can win games over in Melbourne and it's better to work on making it happening now rather than a Final. We still have 3 more H&A games at the G and 1 at the Dome - all are winnable and will force us to look at the gameplan.

It doesn't suprise me that Collingwood lifted. They are obviously playing for Priority Picks but every now and then they have to put in a good performance to give the fans hope for next year.

A game WCE had to lose, its Better losing to collingwood than St kilda.
A) shows the team they have give 100% every game
B) You can right this game off as a poor game, every team has them
C)losing to a finals contenter in melbourne, may have affected players confidence more than losing to the bottom place side

We'd want to start showing something soon. Only 1 win from 6 attempts last season in Melbourne, and a bad start this year. It's no coincidence that our best patches of form come when we don't have to go to Melbourne for a while.
