I can picture Lennon in a Tigers jumper.
He and Martin rotating through the midfield and HFF would be awsome!

If Salem is available I'd take him though haha

I can see Matt Scharenberg in a Tigers jumper :D

I don't remember once saying or even implying that Boyd was second rate. However he certainly isn't as talented as Daniher and Patton. I'm sorry but what do you expect of a second year KPP who has only played 10 games due to injury?

I'll back MR here and say the same. A friend of mine played in the TAC system with Patton (unfortunately didn't get drafted last year) and he's seen both Boyd and Patton extensively coming up through the junior system and he said something similar to MR, thinks injury aside, Patton is a more talented KPP.

Went on to add he thinks he is well overhyped. Said he's good player, but not to the extent people are suggesting.

In capital marlets research this phenomenon is called momentum trading/bandwagoning. A stock that performs well for one period/is popular with investors will become overhyped, more people jump on board, pushing the price up and paying premiums above and beyond what the stock is actually worth, resulting in huge overpricing.

And then guess what happens when the market corrects itself?

A lot of people get burned.

Umm my expectations for a player to be rated unequivocally better than Boyd who is arguably the best rated kpp since I dunno when would be they'd be absolutely tearing it up without question. There are question marks on how far Paton will go...Daniher should be very good still wait and see. My point is by no means enough to sell the farm on...hope that clears it up
Boyd isn't rated as the best KPP since ever. I have no idea who said that and whoever did is certainly no expert. Daniher and Patton are in their first and second years respectively. You can't expect either of them to be tearing it up. The question marks on Patton are due to his injury and I quite clearly said that "if he didn't have the knee problems" he'd be one.
Fact is, Patton and Daniher both showed way more than Boyd as juniors in much stronger drafts. You can even go as far tp say that KPDs are very weak in this draft so Boyd got an easy run through.

Paige Cardona has Salem lasting to us with Melbourne taking Freeman. I refuse to get my hopes up. Melbourne will take Salem surely...

Brett Anderson has him coming to us as well. Seems to be we should expect to draft him now rather than hope.

McBean would be top 15 this year based on his 2013 performances in the VFL

I was thinking that the other day. I think he kicked 38 goals in 14 games and the highly rated Hogan kicked 39 in 14. Our boy did get injured early in his last game however and VFL form is better than TAC form, so I would have thought he would go pretty high.

The momentum shifts in views on who likes who and who is going to draft who seems significantly greater than any recent draft I can recall. I am guessing there are more twists and turns to come and in reality only the respective club's recruiting teams know how they each rate one ahead of the other. It would be great tone able to map the permutations that could play out in the draft. In reality we will never know

Can I ask where this Paige Cardona has come from? Do they have any credibility?

Just haven't heard of this site until recently...

She is on TAC cup radio. She has a bit of credibility, but i think this the draft she has to earn it.

She did say this morning that Brisbane have re-interviewed Sheed and look like taking him at 7.

Wouldnt West Coast be filthy if they dropped to 11 thinking noone would pick Sheed and then Brissy go and get him. Suppose still they are going to get a good kid but seems like all along they have had their hearts set on Sheed

I wonder if we have a straight out list in tho order of abilty, as we see them, and just take the best kid available at our pick... Or we have a framework depicted on who was taken before us in the draft...

Lennon still WC. Sheed dunno. Maybe 13.

The difference of opinion on Lennon is quite large based on the commentary. Not sure what to think from afar. Their are pros then you have others like Quigley who seem toward the dismissive side based on various reasons which may or may not prove valid.

The best thing for me is he was at RFC earlier so our guys should have a better idea about the reality of the situation with Lennon in terms of where he is at. Hopefully if Lennon lasts to 12, based on our knowledge and experience with him and others we make the smart decision whether we pick him or not.

Emma Quayle called it the day before - Ellis. Ditto Conca

IIRC she went a few days earlier on Conca when noone else had a clue.

I dont really take much note of any of the other guys but shes one i'll always listen too. Sure she gets some wrong too mut i find her to generally be closest to the pin so to say
