Second meets 9th in a match that's much more important for the bottom team than it might appear at first glance. Both they and the 8th-place Normanby have this and two more matches to go. The Superchickens are last by four premiership points and 5%. Its a big ask, but they could handball off the wooden spoon if they play like they did earlier this week. For Them Bloody Lions, its time to decide how many finals chances they'd like. Four points behind the ladder leaders (yet way ahead on %), 2 pts ahead of 3rd and 4 ahead of 4th, Flumpy have yet another crunch game on their hands. They could take top spot, or they could drop out of the four. Unbelievably, we're still not able to say that there's any real safety for the #2 team at this stage!
